xSellco, the company behind eDesk, has once again been named among the top companies in Ireland at Deloitte’s 2020 Fast 50 Technology Awards.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards, one of Ireland’s foremost technology award programmes, is a ranking of the country’s 50 fastest-growing technology companies based on revenue growth over the last four years. Winners of the Fast 50 in 2018, xSellco continued its rapid growth in 2020, expanding to 7,000 customers worldwide.

The Fast 50 inclusion caps off a memorable week for the company in which its success was also recognised by a Gold Award at the Harvard Business Council’s 2020 International Awards Ceremony. Founded by serial entrepreneur Ray Nolan in 2012, xSellco empowered $13.4 billion of transactions on 320 million orders worldwide last year and has set its sights on an even bigger 2021.

Speaking following the announcement of the Deloitte Fast 50, xSellco Chief Marketing Officer David Keene was bullish about the company’s potential to continue its growth.

“xSellco is the rarest of software businesses and this is another brilliant achievement for our team. Our north star has always been to solve and simplify ecommerce, saving customers time and money. The pandemic led to an explosion in ecommerce activity and we moved quickly to support businesses across every continent.

“We are the only player in the CommerceTech space to have tier one partnerships with both Amazon and Google and these partnerships, coupled with our deep technology, transactional intelligence, and AI innovation, have led to an unprecedented demand for our software.

“The growth in our customer service helpdesk product, eDesk, has been particularly successful. We’ve established ourselves as the number one eCommerce helpdesk in the world, and we expect this upward trend to continue in 2021 with 100% organic growth.”

Despite the pandemic, xSellco achieved record revenue and headcount increased by almost 100% in 2020. The company expects to double that number in the first half of 2021 with a number of hires in London, Dublin and the United States.

The prioritisation of collaboration and employee care has been essential to the business as it transitioned to an all-remote work environment in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines.

2020 has been a year to remember for xSellco, but the company shows no signs of slowing down as it continues expansion globally in 2021.
